Rosie is a transplant to the Bay State from the Bay area of California where she completed her two-year teacher training at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco in 2008, studied with senior teachers there, and deepened her study through 4 trips to India to study with the Iyengar family. She is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher at Level 2.
Rosie has taught for 14 years and brings a deep understanding of anatomy, a background in therapeutic yoga for back issues and bone health as well as love of yoga philosophy to her teaching. She has served on the boards of the Iyengar Yoga National Association of the US and the Iyengar Yoga Association of New England.
Prior to starting on the path of yoga, she worked in not-for-profit management, consumer product marketing, business development and university and public broadcasting fundraising.
