Liz discovered yoga at a Boston gym in the late 90s, but it wasn’t until she moved to Las Vegas in 2001 that she began to consistently study the practice. During almost a decade of living in the desert, Liz regularly studied and practiced traditional Ashtanga yoga and eventually fell in love with the Anusara yoga system. She also completed multiple teacher training programs and became a licensed massage therapist. In 2007 Liz started teaching public yoga classes in Las Vegas, and since returning to the Boston area in 2009 she has completed well over 500 hours of teacher training.
Liz’s approach to teaching is simple: let’s move together and make the yoga poses work forour unique bodies. She encourages creative exploration within the shapes you make, and draws upon her background in anatomy to help show you how to work in different ways compared to the status quo.
Liz’s classes tend to move at a slightly slower pace so we can take notice.
Liz has 2 kids, 3 dogs and a cat. She enjoys reading and listening to audiobooks and loves to spend time outdoors going on long walks, gardening, and using her push-mower.
