After fifteen years of classical ballet, Jess first came to the mat in college. After a few years away from the mat, she was reintroduced to her practice and happily fell back into the rhythm of yoga. Through her personal practice she learned to find joy in challenges and relished the opportunity for self-reflection and self-discovery.
Jess tries to incorporate the grace she learned from ballet and the strength and dedication she learns from her super-athlete friends into each of her classes, while keeping things light hearted with the occasional bad joke.
Jess completed her 200-hour teacher training at Waltham Yoga in April 2015, and is passionate about sharing her experience of yoga with others. As a teacher, her goals are to invite students to challenge and learn about themselves, just as she did at the start of her own yoga journey. She is currently working towards a Prenatal Yoga Teacher certification with Bec Conant of OmBirths.
