Yin yoga is a quiet and mindful practice consisting of postures held close to the floor for an extended period of time. This unique practice is designed to complement more active styles of yoga by encouraging the release of muscular tension to gently stimulate and strengthen the deep, dense connective tissues. We will also offer gentle breathing exercises and a brief meditation in order to deepen the introspective nature of this class. You will leave each session feeling relaxed and rejuvenated!
