Restorative yoga is your chance to relax! Designed to help slow your body down and initiate the body’s own relaxation response, restorative yoga is an opportunity to gently stretch and quiet the mind.

Roll & Restore
Roll and Restore begins with time to move awareness inwards, then combines the use of yoga therapy balls and gentle restorative yoga. Myofascial release techniques and gentle movement come together to deeply nourish and support your body. This grounding yoga practice will balance the nervous system, calm the mind, and release tension. Don’t miss this opportunity to roll out, refresh, and recover with some self-care!

Restorative with Yoga Nidra
The pace of this restorative session is slow and restful. The class begins with steady, slow, and gentle attention to postures and movement and leads to deep relaxation through yoga nidra. Yoga nidra is “yoga sleep”. Through a gentle guided meditation, participants find themselves in a space between wakefulness and sleep. The practice of yoga nidra allows for a deep and restful state of mind and body. All levels are welcome.

Yin Yoga
Yin yoga is a quiet and mindful practice consisting of postures held close to the floor for an extended period of time. This unique practice is designed to complement more active styles of yoga by encouraging the release of muscular tension to gently stimulate and strengthen the deep, dense connective tissues. We will also offer gentle breathing exercises and a brief meditation in order to deepen the introspective nature of this class. You will leave each session feeling relaxed and rejuvenated!

Restorative
With long, restful poses, Restorative Yoga features gentle opening poses and passive stretching of muscles, allowing you to connect with your breath and still your consciousness. Restorative yoga is mostly done on the floor, on your back or seated with the support of bolsters, blankets and blocks to enhance the relaxation experience. All levels are welcome. As a gentle class, restorative is suitable for recovery fitness days or for those recuperating from injury. You do not need any yoga experience. The pace is gentle and calming.
