Danielle started Iyengar yoga as a New Year’s resolution in 2013—and it might be the only resolution she has ever kept. She loved it enough to brave assessment and become a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher. Danielle completed her teacher training with Patricia Walden in 2018 and is grateful for the wisdom of Patricia and Manju Vachher, as well as the thoughtful guidance of her mentor, Jarvis Chen, whose class she assists each week.
Despite a proclivity toward chaos, Danielle loves the precision, detailed instruction, and structure Iyengar yoga offers. Every family of poses is her favorite – truly– but especially arm balances. She also loves a dramatic twist.
With thoughtful sequencing, clear, effective demonstrations, and a sense of humor, Danielle makes each asana feel approachable—even the ones that look like pretzels. She marvels at how this practice has transformed her life and is passionate about sharing it with others.
